It’s that time; a month until tour, there’s still shows to find, there’s still money to find, the van is worrying, travel isn’t booked, life is not in order but it’s fine… I hope.

Our new single is still up for download, all proceeds go directly to how much this next tour is costing. So if you can afford to help, £1 is the cost and the option to donate more is there and every penny will go to something very useful.
We’ve had some great support on it so far but we’re still drastically short on money to fund this tour.
You may play the worlds smallest violin now - but we are an independent band, our label deal is really, really small and in no way at all profitable and we do work meager jobs (and lose them regularly for this silly band). This tour is completely self funded, the only people who believe in us enough to sponsor us are our lovely friends. For that, we are far more blessed than any band on a major.

Okay, we’ve completely over saturated expectation and hype over this one single track… Sorry about that.
The explanation behind this release is as follows:
In March we decided to take on a 2 month tour, DIY booked going from Europe for a month to the America for a month back to back. We took this all on completely DIY, it’s self booked (and in progress) and self funded (that’s the really hard part). Soon after we got back off tour Pete and Graham were made redundant. Rayyan got dicked around for a job, ended up earning about £150 over 2 n a half months… I personally went back to a job I fucking hate for 6 weeks doing 6am-6pm 6-7 days a week, every penny has gone towards this tour but it just isn’t enough.
We need to make a series of hardcore outgoings early September and this next month is all pure stress and saving (what we haven’t got) to make sure we have the bare minimum to pay all the flights, ferries, breakdown cover (which if you know the history of our vessel, we need that shit).
So we’re fully aware this isn’t an ethical charity case and we don’t hold it in any esteem over real charities who do real work and we don’t implore you to support this cause over any other cause.
We just simply say that if you like the track and want to help us out then please, please do. It is massively appreciated and will be helping towards something we’re working fucking hard to make happen.

Well, first of all… We owe the most sincere thanks to everyone involved in our tour with Almeida.
It was absolutely mental, 11 solid shows of having the pleasure of watching Almeida each and every day. Such an impressive, hard working band with infinite potential. Please make the effort to see them if you haven’t already - it’s a humbling experience to say the least.
Everyone who went to all the trouble of putting us on, up, feeding us and taking care of us we thank you from the very bottom of our hearts. It still means as much now as it ever has and ever will. I can personally say touring is the one thing that retains my faith in man kind and the kindness we experience on the road is inspiring and pushes us to be better people.

Things have been great in the Egos camp recently. Yeah we are settling back into normality a little now, I did a full week of work this week… It was a little soul crushing.

It’s going to be such a gem of a little fest. All the bands on this are really worth your attention! Booking the Almeida tour is going swimmingly. Got some really really cool stuff lined up, I.E. playing one our best friends 26th at another of our best friends band rehearsal studio with Black Art and Stillbust… You couldn’t write how awesome of a gig this is going to be. Anywho, things will get announced and another fantastic Jordan Harrison Reader poster shall be online very soon.
We can’t thank people enough for all the album purchases! It’s mind blowing, we didn’t even know we were on Spotify! Not only that, but how the fuck did our shitty EP and single get on there? How does that work!?

Ok so here’s what happened…
We played a sold out show at The Moho last night in Manchester which ended up being the absolute best show of tour. Seriously! Stagedives, singalongs, shots of mystery liquors.. It was one for the books. An afterparty started to form at a bar down the street. In…
Hii there… this feels like getting home drunk with a displeased wife waiting up with cold dinner on the table… How have you been Tumblr? We know we’ve been slack!
Well we have been busy with the tour, the album launch and van problems.
You may have seen that we went on a 42 date 30 shows 13 countries tour which we have been home from forrr a week now? Settling back into life, planning the future, dealing with money problems (aren’t we all) and hitting that practice room hard!
Of course we owe all the individuals who helped with the tour a thank you that no human being has the vocabulary to express. We got treated so well and we met the most humble, kind and understanding people we have ever met. So far from home it means the world and it makes us better people so to stress the point - we are in eternal debt to you all and the love we have for this collective of people never stops growing.

We are schoolgirl excited to announce that we will be touring with the Metal/tech-punk legends Almeida (Bells On Records, Lockjaw Records) this July! If you haven’t seen/heard these guys before you should definitely give them a bash!
